A 3rd generation entrepreneur who started his career as an estimator for Abbey Carpet Co., Inc. In 2006, he founded Dynamic Flooring, Kitchen, Baths & Remodeling in New Jersey. Steve acquired EZ Tread in 2021 after being an EZ Tread dealer for over 15 years. Steve’s vision for EZ Tread is to be the leader in the staircase refacing industry at exceeding customers’ expectations by delivering the highest quality products in a culture that promotes teamwork.
David J. Ferguson
Executive Management Team
David J. Ferguson has over 30 years of experience in executive management, including strategic planning, brand development, sales & marketing, finance, corporate & manufacturing operations, performance management, and supply chain logistics. He currently serves as an adjunct business professor at Florida Gulf Coast University's School of Entrepreneurship.
Mr. Ferguson has served as a member of the Corporate Board of Directors for the American Red Cross, was a member of the Board of Directors for the YMCA, and served on the President's Advisory Council at Alvernia University. Mr. Ferguson earned his M.B.A. from Kutztown University and a B.A. in Accounting and Marketing from Alvernia University.
Gregory Vitagliano
Operations Manager
Greg brings over 40 years of experience in the floor covering and construction industry to the EZ Tread TEAM. He has held multiple positions in the industry: apprentice, master installer, carpenter, territory manager for Mohawk Industries, Inc., (a Fortune 500 company), and a top level, and nationally ranked salesperson for Pro Source. Having previously owned a retail showroom and installation business, Greg understands the importance of delivering high quality products, superior craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service.
Kevin McMahon
Business Development
With over 30 years of experience in the floor covering industry, Kevin brings unparalleled expertise to his role as business development manager. Kevin has held management roles for both manufacturers, as well as leading national retailers, successfully overseeing multiple locations. Throughout his career, Kevin has played a pivotal role in growing international brands and helping them gain significant market share in the U.S. His extensive industry knowledge, coupled with strong relationships across the country, gives him a distinct edge in forging strategic partnerships and expanding the EZ Tread brand. Kevin’s passion for the industry and proven track record of success make him an invaluable asset to the team.
Deon Higgins
Production Manager
Deon joined the EZ Tread team in 2019, bringing with him exceptional leadership skills that quickly earned him a management role in the color and finish department. As the color and finish manager, Deon oversees both the finishing and color matching operations, ensuring every detail meets the highest quality standards. Known for his positive attitude and meticulous eye for quality, Deon has become a driving force in maintaining excellence and inspiring his team to achieve outstanding results.
